LOCATION - Where is Good News Bible Church? 

Currently, we are meeting in the Center for Independent Living of North Central PA at 24 East 3rd St. We ask that you use the side doors to the east of the building, right next to the parking lot. There are signs placed outside and inside to help you find your way. As you enter the building, the friendly staff on our Guest Relations Ministry Team will be available to help you find your way to our gathering space and answer any questions you may have.

***For the safety of the kids (yours and ours) and for general building security, we do lock the doors at 10:45am – 15 minutes after we kick off our gathering. If you arrive after this time, we can not guarantee someone will be at the door to let you in as our meeting location is downstairs from the entrance.

PARKING - Where can I park without getting a ticket? 

On Sunday mornings, parking is free in all downtown area lots. You are welcome to use the parking lot to the east of the building. 

GATHERING - What are the gatherings like at Good News? 

Our gatherings are relaxed and relevant. Please feel free to dress comfortably. Most people wear blue jeans and a comfortable shirt. We provide free coffee and baked goods prepared by our Hospitality Ministry Team. Each gathering will last about an hour. We kick off our gathering with a big welcome and share any church announcements we have. We will then have some singing lead by our Music & Worship Ministry Team or by video when the team has time off. We continue with a time of relevant bible teaching and we close our gathering by singing led by our Music & Worship Ministry Team. Pastor Dan teaches from the English Standard Version (ESV) of the Bible, however, you are welcome to bring any version you are using. If you do not have a Bible, no worries! You can follow the message through the video presentation on the screens. An offering is taken, but money is not desired from our guests. We are simply delighted that you have come to join us. 

CHILDREN - Is there something there for my kids? 

Yes! Our Children’s Ministry is for kids from ages 2 to 10 years old. This activity takes place during the teaching time of our main gathering. Your children will start off their time with your family and then will be led to their fun and educational activities by our Children's Ministry Team after we finish singing together. During their time with our team, your children will be learning about God through games, crafts, videos, and teaching for their age level. They will return to you after the message as we close our gathering with a time of singing and reflection.

Nursery services are available for children up to 2 years of age.
