Dan Rockwell - Lead Pastor & Church Elder

Dan has been the Lead Pastor of Good News for over 30 years. His teaching will challenge you to think in new ways and bring biblical truth to bear on real life struggles. Dan is the guy who asks penetrating questions and challenges the status quo. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Business Administration. Dan has become known worldwide through his daily blog,"Leadership Freak", which provides insight and advice in both business and personal leadership. Dan also writes his pastoral ministry blog called "Grace Freak Dan". In his spare time you can find Dan at the movie theater on a date with his wife, playing with his grandkids, reading a book, or enjoying a quality cigar.

Tim Schoener - Church Elder & Student Ministry Pastor

Tim has been attending Good News since 1985 and has been serving as an Elder since 1987. Tim's main role is leading RESPONSE Young Adult's Ministry as the Student Ministry Pastor. Tim uses his financial and administrative skills to enhance the ministry of Good News. In addition, he teaches, leads services, follows up with guests, and tracks our financial status. If you need something done, see Tim. His kinetic exterior is combined by a loving spirit. He is employed by Susquehanna Health in Information Technology and was involved with Bible Study Fellowship in Williamsport for over 20 years. In his spare time you can find Tim on his phone texting the many students he ministers to, running, reading, or watching a favorite TV show with his wife and daughters.

Mike Moon - Church Elder & Congregation Pastor

Mike was born and raised in the Williamsport area. He attended and graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 2001. After graduating high school Mike studied Youth Ministry at Johnson University (formerly Johnson Bible College) in Knoxville, TN. returning to Williamsport in 2007. He began attending Good News in 2009. Having a background working with youth, Mike started helping with our Children's Ministry Team. Today, Mike serves at Good News as the Congregation Pastor.
